SAMPLE DAY at a discover yellow retreat
Discover Yellow retreats are thoughtfully designed to provide women with an experience that allows each of us the space to purposefully connect with others; engage in times of reflection; set intentions; practice gratitude; be kind to ourselves, and use the time in ways that are meaningful for each of us individually. We encourage you to join planned activities as you wish or take extra time you need for yourself. Our planned activities are comfortable and at your pace. Typically, about 4-5 hours each day are set aside as free time. No matter what, your schedule is 100% yours.
While no two days are alike at Discover Yellow retreats, here’s a glimpse of what a day could look like:
Morning
Peaceful Start:
Begin your day with a quiet morning, coffee in hand and a nourishing homemade breakfast ready and waiting for you.
Sunrise Yoga:
You can join for a sunrise yoga session, gently waking up your body and mind.
Morning Devotional:
You can participate in a reflective morning devotional, setting a thoughtful and intentional tone for the day ahead.
Mid-Morning
Guided Workshops + Reflective Exercises:
The group will participate in a variety of facilitated workshops, reflective exercises and breakout group discussions. Including sharing of practical tools and insights for intentional and healthy living.
**NOTE: Throughout the day, enjoy plenty of healthy snacks and opportunities to connect with others, fostering a sense of community and support.
Afternoon
Outdoor Adventures:
Enjoy time for adventures like hiking, nature walks, or other outdoor activities, soaking in the beauty of Suncadia.
Relax:
Take time to relax and recharge. Maybe it’s reading a book, journaling, enjoying time in our private backyard area or taking a nap in your cozy bed.
Evening
Group Dinner:
Enjoy a wholesome, homemade dinner together. It’s a time filled with good conversations and laughter.
Guided Workshops + Reflective Exercises
Movement:
Participate in a movement session, such as sunset yoga or a gentle stretch, to unwind and reflect on your day.
Night
Evening Relaxation:
Unwind with some quiet time, perhaps with a good book or a cup of tea, before settling in for the night.
Enjoyable Conversations:
Enjoy time around the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub or playing a fun game. This is a great opportunity to continue conversations from the day’s workshops or simply share in a time of stories and laughter.
